Introducing Our New Program Director

As we celebrate 15 years of impactful service to the Jersey City community, we are thrilled to welcome Alberto Clark, our new Program Director. As proud single father from Brooklyn, Alberto brings a wealth of experience, resilience, and a deep passion for empowering families and strengthening communities.

With over 10 years of professional experience as a Subject Matter Expert in Information Technology, Community Development, and Program Management, Alberto has dedicated his career to creating opportunities for individuals to thrive. He has been a tireless advocate for fathers, recognizing the unique challenges and triumphs that come with fatherhood. As a single dad himself…he doesn’t play about his!  That same attitude protrudes for his family, friends, and the Helping Him organization.  Alberto understands the importance of support systems and resources that help men build strong families and raise confident, compassionate children.

Prior to joining Helping Him, Alberto led initiatives focused on team comradery, workforce development, and youth mentorship.  His innovative approach and unwavering commitment to the community have earned him widespread respect and admiration.

In his new role, Alberto will oversee the development and execution of programs that align with our mission to provide helpful resources, empower families, support fathers, and foster community growth. He looks forward to building upon the organization’s legacy of service while introducing fresh ideas that address the evolving needs of our community.  As the Program Director, he will also work with the organization's senior staff to support fundraising efforts, build a team, and cultivate new projects.

Outside of work, Alberto is a devoted father who enjoys traveling, exercising, playing sports, exploring the arts, or volunteering in his neighborhood. His personal journey inspires his professional vision, and he believes in the transformative power of connection, empathy, and perseverance.

Our mission is to assist fathers from all socio-economic walks of life whose background or circumstance did not allow them the privilege of learning by example how to be strong, nurturing fathers and caregivers to their children.  The goal is to collectively work within the community and begin to repair families, starting with what should be their strongest foundation - the men.  They are pillars of the family unit and should not be counted out in raising productive members of society, shaping the next generation of our country's leaders.  HelpingHim.org will work from the ground up, providing tools and resources to build up our fathers, our families, our communities
